The Excalibur Hotel in Las Vegas Doesn’t Use Chemicals To Clean and Sanitize Guest Rooms!

Louie Frias asked:

During a recent visit to the hotel I noticed there was no “smell” of clean… actually, no chemical odor in my room at all.

I have to admit, it was a little odd, as I wondered if the room had been cleaned at all. (Here’s where I could really use a luminescent light kit like on CSI.)

I put on my “investigation hat” and took a little walk. I didn’t have to go far before I discovered the answer. I was astonished.

The housekeepers cart was carrying this handy little unit called a “Lotus System” and no other familiar looking cleaners. I asked her what it did and she replied that it cleaned without chemicals. How is that even possible? I asked.

She just shrugged her shoulders and smiled.

I went back to my odorless room and fired up the laptop and after about 15 minutes, I learned this Lotus system uses liquefied ozone created right on the spot to clean AND sanitize – without any chemical assistance at all!

Was this for real or some money-saving scheme by the hotel to save money?

I didn’t care too much about saving money…I DID care about the germ AND chemical free room I was in.

I poked around the Lotus site for about a half hour, read some independent reports, learned all about this “liquefied ozone”, but STILL had my doubts. I mean, seriously? Plain TAP WATER supercharged to be faster and stronger at germ and bacteria killing than ANY chemical or my personal favorite – good old Clorox bleach?

Then, I found it. Through the LotusWest website, I found a link to some videos about ozone and in particular, this product.

The one that TOTALLY convinced me was a recent investigative report and biological lab study by a television station somewhere in the Southern U.S. called Fox 8.

Long story short – after watching the results, I had to have one. At least to fool around with myself. And now I do. Hey, if it’s good enough for a mega resort or two in the entertainment capital of the world, it’s good enough for me.

After learning how to use it and seeing the performance, I’m also now happy to say, I no longer get nauseous or have to apply lotion to my hands after I clean my mancave. (Hey. Guys get dry, rough skin too. Besides, what woman doesn’t LOVE a clean home and a guy with soft, but strong hands?)

If you’re like me and don’t believe this process delivers, at least go to the LotusWest website or Google “liquefied ozone” and learn for yourself – your home and family will thank you for it. And oh by the way, the money I save from no longer buying cleaning supplies will be put to good use – another wild weekend in Las Vegas!
